Ryugaroux

*even though it's a genderless mech, I will be referring to it as a him*

@ 7:46 pm on 10/8/12, I've uploaded this-Ryugaroux, my sentient butcher-one of...*counts*...14 pieces (not including this one) that I've had to upload to DA. I also have 3-4 I've uploaded for everyone to see, that I need to write bios to in their descriptions. At least this one, I'm uploading with "his" picture p:

This is a picture of my latest robot, which as I mentioned, I named Ryugaroux (name is a modification on "rougarou" aka roux-ga-roux, rugaroo, rugaru, which is basically an English/European werewolf; a man who turns into a beast, commonly thought of as a canine-like animal. more info: [link]). The mech was originally drawn and designed by a good friend of mine, EliteKaiju [link]. It's his kaiju, actually a cyborg sort of (actually an alien sloth-like creature wearing a set of armor), but I decided to use it as a full-fledged mecha. Very seldom do fanarts of an original selection surpass the original piece, but I have to admit, this drawing, by HayesAJones, artist extraordinaire and someone I consider as a good friend (and is a frequent art/visuals of my kaiju concepts/designs contributor), looks so good. I had him do a drawing of Ryugaroux in his style with some equipped armaments I specified, and it just looks, so...good, in his style. With no disrespect intended towards EliteKaiju or his original design of this monstrosity, I just think this is the best image of Ryugaroux. I think it's just that Hayes style suits the machine and/or its appearance so well. For the thousandth time, Hayes, thank you so much for doing this request, and for doing such an epic job. Now, allow me to introduce Ryugaroux.

now, I'll put his name and nicknames, height/length/weight, and list of attacks, because I'm about to do a cool little short 'fic, a sort of test run, with Ryugaroux. It'll take place in Japan, and he'll fight a couple of feral kaiju that have come to the city.

aka Ryu' (given by Ryugaroux's crew of mechanics), the Butcher, The Berserker, 'Roo (given by Ryugaroux's crew of mechanics), The Mobile Fortress, IronClaw (given by Ryugaroux's crew of mechanics), Cleave (given by Ryugaroux's crew of mechanics)

Height: 125 meters
Length: about 280 meters
Mass: roughly 106,000 tons

* Claws & blades are made of a hardened-alloy that is razor sharp and designed to tear out chunks of meat and breach/rip out natural armors/carapaces as well as the metal that makes up an enemy mech. Can tear through nearly any alloy. Claws made of a special alloy developed from the alien tech salvaged from the UFO site crash (to be explained), but the body armor has been made the same way; an alloy specially created from researching the remnants at the crash site.

* The weapon mounted on the right shoulder is called the CM-90 Laser-Burst Sniper Cannon. It is very much like the Predator's shoulder cannon, including the mass of energy fired, the results, etc. Fires a tight cluster of crackling, hot energy (a cool (as in cold) looking, blue color) in a quick shot, the hot temperature burns through flesh and armor and cauterizes the impact. Burns the wiring/muscles and nerves underneath the flesh or armor burned through.

* The CRM-22 Sniper Cannon can swivel around to launch the medium-large missile locked and loaded in the back. The missile explodes with a large detonation, producing a strong shockwave that throws the target back after having sustaining heavy damage. Also releases a flesh-eating bacteria that's been isolated to only affect/harm kaiju, not humans. Intended to be a weapon that "ends the battle," or if a kaiju is strong, at least damage them at least 80-85%, because along with being thrown, their skin will undergo necrosis.

* Left shoulder launches syringe-missiles. In lue of detonating, when they hit, the syringe tip injects a virus that delivers flu-like symptoms (sore, achy joints. fever, nausea), body temperature rises, heartbeat quickens, there is a chemical in the serum that basically "the nerves are allergic to." The chemical causes the nerves to burn with pain, a lot of pain. Finally, the area around the injection point begins to decay and rot, but only the area around it.

* Right arm's weapon is an AF15 Double-Repeater [Portable] Rifle. The barrels fire one-at-a-time thick bullet that punch through flesh (not designed to penetrate carapaces or steel), once nestled inside the bullet wound, the cores in the ammo detonate with a small explosion, internally damaging each bullet wound.

* Needles poking out of the tail's tip can conduct electricity; electrical bolts course upwards between two needles (for all the needles) and can be stabbed through a target to shock a foe, causing muscles to tighten around the penetration point.

*Jaws have incredible crushing power, able to bite through carapaces and steel alike.

* operates on a DNA computer, with the skeleton of the alien kaiju that crashed in a Japanese mountain range housed inside the mech.
